Thomas Munby KC acted for the successful claimant, which obtained partial summary judgment in an aircraft engine lease dispute. 

The claim centred on three engines, with unpaid rent and maintenance accruals accumulating over several years. The ruling emphasised the strict contractual nature of the aircraft leasing agreement, with payment obligations deemed "absolute and unconditional", regardless of any potential disputes.
