Oliver Clement

Call: 2024

Oliver joined Maitland in September 2025, after successfully completing pupillage under the supervision of Darragh Connell, Maxim Cardew, Maria Mulla, and James Balance.

During pupillage, Oliver was exposed to the full breadth of Chambers’ specialisms, in all of which he now accepts instructions. He is developing a wide-ranging commercial chancery practice. Oliver is comfortable advising in offshore matters, in addition to his domestic practice.

Before coming to the Bar, Oliver read law at Magdalen College, Oxford, in which he took a ‘double first’, obtaining first-class classifications in both Moderations, and Final Honour Schools. Whilst at Oxford, Oliver was a keen advocate, winning several mooting competitions at a national and international level.
