Kendya Goodman

Call: 2022

Kendya joined Chambers in September 2023, following the successful completion of her pupillage. During pupillage she was under the supervision of Rowena Page, Richard Fowler, Thomas Fletcher, and Caley Wright.

As a pupil, Kendya gained experience across the breadth of Chambers’ specialisms, including company and insolvency litigation, and complex civil fraud disputes.

She is currently developing a wide-ranging commercial chancery practice, with a broad interest in company and insolvency matters, as well as a particular passion for charities disputes.

Before coming to the Bar, Kendya received a first-class degree in History & Politics from New College, Oxford. She was president of New College Junior Common Room (the body representing undergraduates) in 2018-19. She then completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and Bar Vocational Studies at City University, as the Pump Court Tax Chambers scholar in 2022.

Alongside the Bar course, Kendya ran the London Marathon 2021 in aid of the Terrence Higgin’s Trust (raising over £2,000), and has since undertaken extensive pro bono work as an Advocate panel member.
