Overview
Beverley is recommended by both Chambers UK and Legal 500 for her mediation work, having worked in ADR since she retired from being a litigation partner in Allen & Overy LLP in 2013.
Beverley joined A&O as a Senior Associate in January 2000 to build their Real Estate litigation practice and was made a Partner in 2003 having successfully grown her practice. In that role she advised on an eclectic mix of disputes from those within complex banking or corporate structures, through matters involving areas of law such as insolvency or PFI, to residential landlord and tenant disputes.
In 2013 she transferred to the Bar to practice as an independent mediator, adjudicator and expert and has devoted the same level of energy and commitment to her ADR practice as she did to her career as a solicitor. This has led to her having a busy and wide ranging practice covering a broad range of disputes including but, far from limited to, those reflecting her real estate dispute background.
Her mediation practice encompasses all types of commercial disputes both domestically and internationally with an emphasis on breach of contract, property, partnership and shareholder disputes, trusts, probate, professional negligence and claims in the corporate and banking sectors.
Beverley is equally at home with a number of different mediation formats, and has experience with online hybrid mediations (where some of the parties are online and some face to face) as well as the more traditional face to face mediations.
