After graduating from Cambridge University with a first class honours degree in law, Michael became a member of chambers at 9 Old Square which later merged to become part of Maitland.

Michael has a varied practice, ranging from company and partnership, commercial and trust, traditional chancery and professional negligence disputes and issues, to leasehold and freehold property and minerals disputes and issues of every kind.  Over recent years he has travelled extensively for clients, and in particular to the Caribbean, the Far East, and South Africa.
