Thomas Grant QC and Ed Meuli make Supreme Court appearance to raise money for Classics for All

Maitland Chambers, Responsibility

21 October 2021

Thomas Grant QC and Ed Meuli recently appeared before Lord Stephens in the Supreme Court on 14 October 2021 representing Queen Boudica, who was charged with being a terrorist under the Terrorism Act 2000. The fundraising event was held by Classics for All, a charity which aims to reverse the decline in the provision of classical education within state schools. Despite the best efforts of Alison Morgan QC, a leading silk involved in many recent terrorism prosecutions, and her junior Victoria Ailes, Tom and Ed were able to secure a (belated) acquittal for their client!

The case has been widely reported in The Times and The Daily Mail.
