Lee joined Maitland Chambers in 2002 and was appointed Joint Senior Clerk, with John Wiggs, in 2006.

He commenced his clerking career in Gray’s Inn, working his way up from Junior Clerk to Senior Clerk, before joining Maitland.

Lee is jointly responsible for all matters relating to the Clerks’ Room and is supported by a dedicated and experienced team who all have excellent relationships with the various divisions of the High Court in which we practice. Together they see that case management standards and client expectations are met, delivering a high level of service to all our clients.

He has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of each member’s practice, which enables him to ensure that those instructing get the right barrister for their matter. Lee is always happy to discuss fees, timescales and offer assistance and guidance in putting together a compatible team.

Lee is a member of The Institute of Barristers’ Clerks and in his spare time enjoys refereeing football matches, golf and being a part time taxi driver to his eldest daughter.
