Maitland Chambers’ Catherine Newman QC and Alec McCluskey, together with Hugh Evans of 4 New Square, have secured an impressive victory in the High Court for pub company JD Wetherspoon plc in its fraud case against its former agent Van de Berg and Christian Braun.
