Business disputes take many forms; and while many will be purely contractual, other considerations of tortious (including negligence and misrepresentation), equitable (including fiduciary duty) and (for example in a financial services context) statutory claims and remedies may well arise.
In some contexts a continuing relationship may exist although often the dispute has resulted in a cessation of dealings. We have experience of a wide range of business contexts as well of the technicalities of commercial contract, banking, insurance and financial services, and related law. This enables our mediators to understand the dispute, and then to both appreciate, and where appropriate to reality testing of the parties’ various contentions and desired commercial outcomes so that settlement can be explored with confidence.
Our Expertise pages demonstrate the very wide range of these disputes in which we specialise.
