Profile
Andrew is best known for his expertise in all types of property-related disputes and in the area of professional negligence (property, financial and commercial), but his practice also encompasses company law, securities, commercial litigation, insolvency and partnerships.
He deals almost exclusively with litigation, ADR and related advisory work. He also undertakes international advisory work and has acted as an expert witness on English Law.
He has for many years been noted as a leading junior in property litigation by both The Legal 500 and Chambers UK Directory.
He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge (where he was awarded a Whittaker Scholarship) and was called to the Bar in November 1991. He was an Inns of Court Scholar and was awarded the Wigglesworth, Wolfson and Hardwicke Scholarships by Lincoln's Inn.
He is an elected member of the Bar Council (2005-), and a member of its General Management Committee, and of the Law Reform, Professional Practice and Access to the Bar Committees.
He was awarded the Bar Pro Bono Award in 2009.
